Lok Kawi Wildlife Park Kota Kinabalu – Natural Habitat

The Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Environment which is in charge of the Sabah Wildlife Department runs the famous Lok Kawi Wildlife Park in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. The park is spread over an area of 280 acres, inclusive of the Botanical Site under the management of the Sabah Forestry Department and the Zoological Site.

The Lok Kawi Wildlife Park Kota Kinabalu is mainly a mini zoo along with a botanical garden. An exquisite variety of tropical animals found only in Borneo, with the inclusion of reptiles, birds and mammals. And the drive from the KK main city is of approximately 25-30 minutes. The taxi fare is approximately RM 25 to 30.
